HubCon is a family friendly Blue Mountains based pop culture festival. It's an opportunity for Blue Mountains based creators and pop culture fans to get together and share their passions!

This mini-con will present a wide range of activities and events for the community, for all-ages, including cosplay competition; table-top gaming (including D&D and MTG); special guests; film screening; panels; collector’s market; talks, pop-up retro video gaming museum and more!

It's anticipated that this will be the main annual event, with smaller gaming focused tournaments during holiday periods at other times of the year.

This event was named 'HubCon', after the venue that it is held in - the Blue Mountains Theatre & Community Hub. It is a Hub-wide event, which will include Blue Mountains Theatre & Community Hub, Springwood Branch Library and Springwood Neighbourhood Centre.

Can anyone participate in the Cosplay?

Yes, but please note that we encourage HubCon Cosplay to be as 'family friendly' as possible, however parents and carers should be aware that there may be the occasional scary or creepy character amongst the crowd (we will do our best to dissuade this).

Is there a Cosplay weapons and props policy?

Absolutely! And all attendees must adhere to these rules, or face being ejected from the Venue. Safety of our patrons is the highest priority. Find all of the details here.
